Meet Tarra Rosenbaum

Tarra Rosenbaum
Portrait by Giovanni Castell
Tarra Rosenbaum’s designs, which draw inspiration from the four seasons and its perennial bounty, are worn by discerning men and women across the globe.  In a category where mass production is the status-quo, Tarra prefers to retain the sensitivity and delicacy of handcrafted pieces, believing that jewelry fashioned with a personal touch becomes infused with the life force of the artisan.

Descended from a long line of creative dna in the form of painters, sculptors, fashion and graphic designers,  Tarra Rosenbaum, whose parents are both New Yorkers, was born in the Netherlands. She has spent her life navigating the distinctive paces of both rural and urban environments all over the world.  With an inner balance that harmonizes city and country life, her work celebrates the botanical elements and intrinsic beauty of nature, yet with touches of sophistication and style that a New York sensibility can bring.

Tarra’s pieces are crafted primarily in sterling silver, with accents of pearls, semi-precious gems and onyx, along with custom orders in gold.  The women’s line includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets and hair accessories; the men’s line offers a series of striking cufflinks.  Like the designer herself, Tarra’s jewelry is versatile – both statement-making as well as functional in its construction – and lending itself equally to casual and formal settings.  While each piece stands on its own, the creations within the four seasons’ collections are designed to complement one another.
